 Optimal Vitality
 What exactly is "optimal vitality," and what significance does it hold for you?

Let's begin by understanding the concept of vitality.
Vitality is recognized as one of the five intrinsic capacity (IC) domains outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO) that significantly influences healthy aging (1, 2).

According to the definition provided by the Oxford English Dictionary, vitality is described as
"the state of being strong and active; energy" (3).

WHO studies have frequently linked vitality to psychological energy, a sense of aliveness, finding meaning in life, and self-esteem (4–6).


My Definition of Optimal Vitality 
Optimal vitality is the embodiment of energy and resilience,
representing the life force that empowers us to embrace joy within our physical selves
and navigate life's challenges with grace and greater ease.
It enables us to be fully present for our loved ones and relish life's abundant experiences to the fullest
​— encompassing mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

My 7 Vitality Pillars 
Every day, we face a myriad of decisions, some conscious and others unconscious, that fundamentally impact our well-being, happiness, and the world around us. Living consciously empowers us to make choices that enhance our physical and emotional health, leading to a more fulfilling and purposeful existence. It enables us to age gracefully and serve others compassionately while minimizing harm to ourselves and society.

Embracing conscious, sustainable, and healthy living is a lifestyle, a mindset that prioritizes mindfulness and genuine care for our surroundings. It's a commitment to harmonious coexistence with oneself, loved ones, and the environment. This is precisely why "Living Mindfully" forms the foundational principle of my 7 Vitality Pillars.

To achieve lasting vitality in mind, body, and spirit, it is imperative to consistently integrate each of the 7 Vitality Pillars into our lives:
