Even the most disciplined of us get off track sometimes. Best Body RE BOOT is designed to get you back in to your best shape mind and body. And if you've never reached your optimal fitness, this program will get you well on your way to having your best body and overall wellness in your life!
What is Best Body RE BOOT?
Best Body RE BOOT is not a diet, it is a comprehensive lifestyle shift from the inside out.
It is an 8 week wellness program based on the basic tenets of Magen's successful Best Body, Best Self Program, but more advanced. Itis more along the lines of Magen's personal food, exercise and mind body wellness regime. It is designed to give you even more structure (in the form of a stricter eating protocol and very specific daily exercise, breath work and sauna assignments), guidance and supportyou need to get back on track, get to the next level and stay there.
Is Best Body RE BOOT for me?
The Best Body RE BOOT program is for people who have already completed one of Magen's Best Body, Best Self or other Best Body RE BOOT programs or who have experience with detox diets/cleansing programs and or fitness bootcamps. You must be working out a minimum of 3x per week prior to starting this program.
Food :
A pre-set, fail proof, detailed menu based on the 57 Days to Your Best Body, Best Self program (but more restrictive) that changes every two weeks and includes an optional 3-10 day juicecleanse. To make this aspect of your program effortless, you will havethe option to purchase (through Organic Avenue) a 5 or 7 day a week discounted water/juice and food package to be delivered to your home. See details below.The food protocol will include rice protein shakes for breakfast, green juices and veggies, salads, fish and other lean protein, nuts for snacks and soups for dinner.
Supplements:
Like the food regimen, the supplement protocol in this program is designed to give you additional support you will need toavoid food cravings, increase the quality of your sleep, and maintain ahigh, consistent energy level with the increased exercise you willdoing during these six weeks.
Exercise:
During the Best Body RE BOOT you will have exercise and other "homework" assignments each week and be expected to participate in a minimum of five hours of exercise each week. Magen has set up what she considers to be the optimalexercise regimen for achieving the leanest, strongest, most toned bodyin the shortest amount of time. Like the food protocol, it isaggressive, but it's doable while being life changing and rewarding.You will have a recommended exercise schedule to follow daily but will also have the option to modify as needed for schedule or other reasons.
Sauna:
We will have optional meetings at Spa Castle and Russian Bath House where you will learn how to use the dry sauna to cleanse and detoxify .
Daily Journal:
MB Fitness is using a new program online to keep track of your measurements, weigh in's and to help make your daily food and exercise record keeping easier.
During Best Body RE BOOT you will be expected to keep a daily log of your food, exercise as well as any relevant notes. This practice is very helpful for a variety or reasons --but mainly, to help me track your progress so I can troubleshoot any speed bumps which may arise.
Weekly Meetings:
Thursdays at 6:30-7:45PM. Location 58th and 3rd Avenue
While the weekly meetings in both group programs are not mandatory, I have found them to be a pivotal part of many participant's success. Meetings will include talks from some of my favorite fitness"experts" including a talk from an eating disorders specialist on how to avoid stress and binge eating
Investment:
- Includes initial and final consults, weekly meetings with Magen, and other wellness experts
- Weekly Exercise Evaluations by Emily Spichal Emily will be reviewing your exercise logs weekly and helping you to come up with programs for the following week that will suit your specific goals and personal needs.
- Weekly 75 minute fat burning and body toning classes with Dr. Emily Spichal
- Excursions to Spa Castle, paddleboarding class, etc
- Discounts on juice cleanses, supplements, body treatments (acupuncture, etc.)
- Tote bag with lunch/juice cooler and protein shake bottle and any additional, required support from Magen
$1250.
The best success with any endeavor comes from a whole-hearted commitment and resolution to succeed. The Level III investment and Organic Avenue package will make it effortless to follow through with your daily food and exercise protocol as well as insure that you follow through with one of the most important aspects of the program-the energy/acupuncture work.
All program levels/options will be discussed in detail and you will have the option to change your decision and participate in any of the levels you choose the night of the meeting. If you are unsure, choose Level I for now.

Commonly asked questions:
What kind of a commitment is required for the Best Body RE BOOT program?
The six week RE BOOT program is designed with the assumption that participants are making their total wellness their top priority for the duration of the program. At a minimum, this means making the weekly meetings, exercising 5-6 days a week and committing to following the food protocol. There will be exercise options for those who are doing unlimited memberships at Physique 57 or other studios as well as for those who do not want to or cannot attend classes and even one for those who cannot afford the classes and or who do not belong to a gym.
What if I cannot attend all the group meetings?
We have had clients who have only attended one or two meetings and have great success on the program but we do recommend that you attend as many meetings as possible. If you think that you will be missing more than 3 of the meetings, it is advisable to wait until the Fall to take one of the group programs. There will be no notes provided for missed meetings but Magen and Elizabeth will be available to get a client who has missed a meeting up to speed the day after the meeting.
Do I have to give up alcohol and coffee for these programs?
For Best Body REBOOT it is strongly encouraged that you give up both coffee and alcohol for at least the six weeks of the program. For maximum results in any wellness program, it is best not to have either so that, among other benefits, you can have the best quality sleep-which lead to fewer cravings and stronger workouts-and lose the the maximum amount of body fat.
